How it all started

Jamie Jones first discovered yoga nearly 20 years ago as a way to treat his severe asthma without the use of a steroid inhaler. He was in her early 20s, living and working in Colorado. A yoga instructor taught him to use breath control to exhale properly. 

As he learned more about it, the practice of yoga became more important to him. In 2008, he took the money he made from a home he sold and spent it traveling the world for two years to study with every yoga teacher he could.

He knew when he returned to the U.S. that he wanted to open a yoga studio, and he decided his hometown of Cincinnati was the place to do it. In October 2010, Jamie's Yoga was born.
